There were 4 new cases of COVID-19 reported yesterday in Hastings and Prince Edward counties.

The HPE Public Health dashboard shows three of the new infections were located in Belleville, one in central Hastings.

All 4 new cases were discovered in people who were not vaccinated.

With 3 recoveries there are now 38 active cases in Hastings-Prince Edward and 2 people are being treated in hospital, neither of them are in intensive care.

82 percent of the population of the two counties 12 years of age and older are now fully vaccinated.

The Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit reports two new cases today in Northumberland.

Nine are active.
